About
Venture & Equity Partnerships
Partnerships don’t replace what we do, they change the structure of our engagement.
Occasionally, where our work and a business’s long-term growth are closely linked, Embeddable Ventures may take a small minority shareholding as part of an engagement.
How we participate
Equity never replaces fees entirely, and we never work for equity alone.
Any shareholding is minority, non-controlling, and agreed on standard terms.
- Acting as an embedded technology leader, not a passive stakeholder
- Taking a minority, non-controlling position, aligned to long-term outcomes
- Providing ongoing technical leadership, structure, and accountability
Our involvement adapts to your stage, but the intent stays the same: to enable you to reach your definition of success.
When we partner
Relationships that graduate to partnerships
Partnerships usually grow out of work we’ve already done together, where we understand the opportunity, the risks, and the people involved, and where funding is committed or the founder brings deep domain expertise with a clear path to funding.
Established through direct involvement
We’ve worked together previously, on a one-time engagement or strategy, or served as your fractional CTO.
Aligned with investors and relationships
Where known investors and networks seek to introduce Embeddable as a strategic partner during or after a deal.
In new ventures with the right foundations
Before a valuation is set, where the founder brings deep domain expertise and a clear path to funding.

Is partnership right for you?
We consider partnerships rarely, and usually with businesses we already know well. If you think there’s long-term alignment, talk to us.
Independence and conflict management
Maintaining independence is fundamental to how we operate.
Every proposed partnership and shareholding is reviewed independently before it’s agreed, against our service work and any business we already hold a stake in. Where independence can’t be preserved, we don’t proceed.
We do:
- Take small, minority, non-controlling positions
- Have every proposed partnership reviewed independently before it’s agreed
- Keep equity entirely separate from our due diligence work
As a principle, we do not:
- Carry out due diligence on a business in which we hold, or are negotiating, equity
- Advise investors on investing in your business
- Lead or broker investment rounds
- Operate as fund managers or venture builders
- Partner for “sweat” equity
Considering a partnership?
Partnerships start with a working relationship and an independent review. If there’s long-term alignment, we’ll talk it through.
