I've had an idea

Today marks Embeddable’s real birthday, at least to me. Whilst we incorporated in February 2023, it was May of the same year when I walked into the then-recently-opened Flok Coworking Space and decided that was “day one”.

We’re still early in the journey as a business and I’m still very much finding my way as a business owner. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to meet some incredible people, and the business has been fortunate enough to work with some amazing clients from the beginning, as well as hire out first two members of staff.

We’ve become heavily involved in the strategy and delivery of early-stage technology and products for our clients, typically in the form of proof of concept and minimum viable products, which is fitting – Embeddable itself has been an MVP of sorts for the past 2 years, at least in my mind, until now.

With the learnings I’ve made along the way, the data we’ve accumulated, and the projects we’ve been involved in so far, a lot of the assumptions and guesswork I had when Embeddable launched are gone.

We can be definitive in what we do, how we do it, and how it’s proven to help people and businesses.

  • Development, where our in-house team create web-based products that bring your idea to life, or can support your existing team to build secure, scalable software, fast.
  • Consultancy, short-term and transactional support to help you understand opportunities for technology in your business and create strategies that focus on the likes of AI adoption, automation, operational and team efficiency, and new product opportunities.
  • Fractional CTO, Embeddable expertise in your corner. Our ability to create strategy coupled with hands-on delivery, from team building through to product discovery, securing early-stage funding and leading on product launch and scaling.

We’ve established our specialism in helping businesses to articulate their ideas, problems, and opportunities – working with them, often from the earliest stages of an opportunity, to create discovery and scoping outputs that help to understand exactly how long any technology project could take and how much it could cost. We’ve made our process available to everyone for free as the Embeddable Discovery Framework.

We tied the discovery framework launch with the first Tees Valley Digital Innovation Survey, which we ran and published a report on last year, to truly understand the support people look for when they think of “innovation”.

We’ve supported businesses in bringing those solutions to life, raising incorporating them into their operations or launching into market, as well as attracting investment and access to accelerators.

We don’t see ourselves as an “agency”, we’re a partner.

But we can do more.

We’re working on various updates behind the scenes that will only improve the scope of the support we can provide to ambitious people and businesses, which I’m really looking forward to pushing out in the coming weeks and months.

2 years on, this marks the start of Embeddable 2.0, but truly, this is just the beginning.
